Caribbean black Cake
For all you island lovers…We offer the exotic Caribbean black cake (rum and brandy soaked dried fruit is folded into a brown sugar cake batter that is then baked slow and low and covered with cherry liqueur upon completion). This is not your traditional American fruit cake. It is very rich, moist and dense. Normally prepared for the holidays and major events (like weddings), a small slice goes a long way. It is just perfect for eating during the long and cold winter nights.
Standard sizes for Black Cake are:
6″ round (serves 12+)
7″ round (serves 12-15)
8″ round (serves 15-20)
Black cake orders must be placed at least 10 days in advance. Please contact us for other sizes.

Hand made decorated sugar cookies are available for your special event such as birthdays, graduations, mitzvahs (bar or bat), showers (baby or bridal), weddings or just to say “thank you”

Caribbean fruit tarts
Simply Desserts offers delicious fruit tarts in four true island flavors. Caribbean fruits are first cooked down (stewed) with sugar and flavored with pure vanilla or almond extract. The cooked fruit is then poured into a sugar cookie dough and baked until golden brown. This is a treat that should not be missed, and is traditionally prepared during the holidays and for weddings.
Our fruit tarts come in a size to share (9″ round) or not (3″ round).
