Frostings

Italian Meringue Butter cream: Rich whipped cooked frosting that is made with fresh butter. It can also be flavored and used as a delicious filling. (This frosting is silky and not too sweet).

Chocolate Butter cream: Chocolaty, buttery frosting flavored with dark cocoa, Godiva liqueur, and melted chocolate ganache. (This frosting tastes just like chocolate mousse.)

Ganache*: Frosting that is a combination of melted chocolate and heavy cream. It can be whipped to a consistency that is suitable for filling or frosting or poured over the cake in its liquid form.

Rolled Fondant*: Sugar dough that is rolled into a thin sheet and smoothed over the cake. It gives the cake a smooth matte porcelain look. (Rolled fondant has a dense, chewy texture and has a sweet taste that is similar in flavor to marshmallows).
